Theft incidents

State police at Lehighton reported the following theft incidents probed by troopers.

Nancy Carol May, of 568 Scenic Drive, Kunkletown, reported her Dodge Crew was entered and a yellow fabric purse containing $100, her driver's license, and credit cards was removed. The theft occurred when the vehicle was parked in the lower lot of the Blue Ridge Country Club, in Lower Towamensing Township. The theft occurred sometime between 4 and 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 30.Lisa Winkler, 45, of 328 Maple Terrace, Saylorsburg, Ross Township, Monroe County, reported her 1963 Martin D-28 acoustic guitar with hardshell case, Brazilian rosewood, and serial number 193245, was missing. The guitar was taken from 257 Hickory Drive, Saylorsburg. There was no forced entry. The incident was reported on May 23.Troopers are investigating an incident on state game lands along Behrens Road, in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County. Someone gained access to a secured 2011 Cat skid steer, operated the machine, and while doing so, caused damage to a piece of steel and some wiring on the machine. The incident occurred sometime between June 19 and July 1.Anyone with information concerning any of these incidents is asked to call troopers at 610-377-4270.
