I am a boy scout and I am working on my communication merit badge. One of my requirements is to write to a local newspaper and express my opinion on any subject I chose and send it by email.I would like to share my opinion on the Times News newspaper and let you know that my family enjoys the newspaper very much. My family has subscribed to the paper for many years. It is delivered to our house Monday through Saturday.I feel that the newspaper gives us a lot of knowledge on weather, opinion, and keeps us informed of everything going on in our community and what's happening around the world.Sometimes, we even see pictures of people we know. We get information about sports, business, news, etc. There are also a lot of entertaining things like comics, crosswords, puzzles, etc.There are so many advantages of local newspapers like the Times News. Newspapers are very mobile, more so than computers. One can carry them anywhere and they are lighter than a laptop. In addition internet access is not available everywhere.That is the reason why newspapers are more reliable. I think that people in our community who don't subscribe to your paper are missing out on a lot of valuable information.Also, newspapers are cheap to purchase and they can be recycled after reading them.I would like to thank you for providing our community with a great service of communication.
