Rush Township police will be filing charges against three individuals following an underage drinking incident on June 8.

Mason A. Williams, 18, of Lansford, was operating a motor vehicle on Claremont Avenue at 12:39 a.m. when he was stopped by police. He and two passengers, a 17-year-old male from Tamaqua and a 17-year-old female from Grier City, will all be charged with underage drinking.Williams was transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center - S. Jackson St., Pottsville, for blood tests, which indicated a .054 percent blood alcohol content. He will also be charged with driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol and several traffic offenses.
