Nicole M. Fougere, 26, of Albrightsville, sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash at 8:32 a.m. June 29 on Dorshimer Road in Polk Township, Monroe County, according to state police at the Lehighton.

Police said the accident happened about one-half mile west of New York Boulevard when Fougere, driving a 2007 Saturn Ion eastbound, became distracted and drove into the westbound lane where her car crashed into a Ford F350 truck operated by Leroy N. McAdams, 70, of Effort. The latter was traveling westbound at the time and was towing a horse trailer. He was uninjured.
