State police at Lehighton reported investigatin a crash about 10:50 a.m. on June 10, along Kunkletown Road, in Ross Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said Kerry Edward Kudla, 42, of 1595 Kunkletown Road, was traveling east in a 2009 Kia Rio when he observed a deer walking across the road. Kudla applied on his breaks to avoid the deer but lost control of his vehicle on the wet pavement, causing the vehicle to crash into an embankment. Kudla was not injured in the crash.
