July 2, 1985 Palmerton scores a run in the bottom of the seventh inning to force extra innings and then tallies three times in the eighth to gain a 4-3 walk-off win over Salisbury in Lehigh Valley Legion action. Dave Sayuk steals home with two outs in the seventh to tie the contest, but Salisbury puts up two runs in the top of the eighth. Run-scoring two-out singles from Tim Wargo, George Schmidt and Sayuk in the eighth accounts for the comeback victory. Sayuk ends with three hits and four stolen bases while Steve Susel also collects three hits.
