A Monroe County woman is facing forgery and receiving stolen property charges following an incident that occurred about 6 p.m. on June 7 at the Rite Aid Pharmacy in Chestnuthill Township.

State police at Fern Ridge allege that Marie Chighine, 49, of Saylorsburg, attempted to fill a forged prescription for oxycodone. The pharmacy denied the prescription and Chighine fled the scene. Charges will be filed, troopers said.
