State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating two crashes in Monroe County, including a hit-and- run.

Troopers said the hit and run occurred about 7:14 a.m. on June 27 along SR209 in Chestnuthill Township. Troopers said Keith E. Pryor, 38, of Allentown, was driving a 2007 Nissan Altima southbound when another driver was turning left into the northbound lane from a parking lot. Pryor braked and swerved to avoid contact with the other vehicle but struck it in the area of the rear driver's side.The other driver stopped momentarily and then left the scene. Pryor was not injured.A crash was reported about 5:35 p.m. on Friday, June 28, also on SR209 and in Chestnuthill Township. Troopers said Maureen P. Lenahan, 51, of Effort, was stopped in a 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier southbound waiting to make a left turn onto Pleasant Valley Road when Desi Terzieva-Zsilavecz, 32, of Effort, driving a 2011 Nissan Rogue, failed to stop and struck the rear of the Cavalier with the front of the Rogue.Lenahan sustained a minor injury and was taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, by Central Pocono ambulance. Terzieva-Zsilavecz was not injured.
