Members and volunteers of the Tamaqua Community Arts Center are holding a free open stage event tonight at the center, 125 Pine Street.

They encourage all ages and levels of talent to participate.Sign-up starts at 5:30 p.m., and the show lasts from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. This is not a karaoke event, and performers are asked bring their own instruments with one mic being provided.Members recommend small amps and small drum kit and to bring nothing bigger than 2 x 12 combo and or five piece drum kit with high hat & cymbals.For more information, visit
