State police at Frackville reported investigating a one-vehicle crash about 12:05 a.m. on Thursday, June 27, along Interstate 81 in Cass Township, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Caitlyn M. Muchler, 21, of Berwick, was driving a 1994 Buick Century northbound when the car left the road on the west side, traveled about 21 feet before striking the guide rail with the driver's side front bumper.After impact, the car traveled back onto the road, then onto the berm for 66 feet before striking a concrete wall located on the west side. It then went back into the travel lane and off onto the berm again traveling 183 feet before crossing the grass median and striking the guide rails on the east side of the road, where it came to rest.Muchler was not injured. Troopers said she was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
