Special Olympics PA Carbon County is co-hosting a Family Fun Day this Sunday and is in need of volunteers.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Jim Thorpe Memorial Hall. Volunteers are needed starting around 9:30 a.m. and throughout the day.Volunteers are needed to hand out raffle and Chinese auction tickets, run three different games/contests and work the hot dog/nacho stand.Anyone who would like to volunteer can email Victor Shivone at
