Coaldale Lions donate to St. Luke's

Coaldale Lions presented a $500 check recently to St. Luke's Hospital - Miners Campus as part of their $10,000 pledge to the hospital. Pictured during the presentation are, front l-r, Micah Gursky, Lions Club secretary and director of development, St. Luke's; Laura McElheny and Kim Sargent, vice president of patient care services of St. Luke's; back l-r, Lions Club vice president; Cip Vavra, and Lions President Robert Ames. "This donation represents the Lions Club motto of 'We Serve'," said Ames, who added that the funds will go towards the hospital's new ICU Unit. The Coaldale Lions Club has been serving the community since 1946.
