A Carbon County business has been cited by the Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board.

Failte Inc, trading as Molly Maguire's Pub & Steak House, 5 Hazard Square, Jim Thorpe, was cited for used, or permitted to be used on the inside and outside of the licensed premises, a loudspeaker or similar device whereby the sound of music or other entertainment, or the advertisement thereof, could be heard beyond the license's property line. The alleged offense occurred on April 26 and May 23.This charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious ones. Also, the judge can impose a license suspension or revocation of license based on the severity of the charge brought.
