Another arrest made for break-ins

Pocono Mountain Regional police reported another arrest made in connection with burglaries that were committed in the Blakeslee area of Monroe County.

Police said during the month of May they investigated numerous break-ins of homes with various items taken. As the result of interviews of witnesses, police identified Reese Tankalavage, 23, of Freeland, as having been involved in two of the burglaries.Tankalavage was arrested this week and charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft, conspiracy, receiving stolen property, and criminal mischief. He is currently in the Luzerne County prison in Wilkes-Barre on unrelated charges.Earlier this week police reported the arrest of Christopher L. Albertson, 33, of Freeland, in connection with the same break-ins. He was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft, criminal conspiracy, receiving stolen property, and criminal mischief. He also is an inmate in the Luzerne County prison on unrelated charges.
