Three troops of Lansford Girl Scouts, aided by the Lansford Women's Club, participated in their own "People to People" program last April and were recently rewarded when a letter and pictures of their international service project was received.

Members of Girl Scout Cadette troops 33 and 73 and Brownie Troop 218 collected from each troop member one or more items of clothing in good repair and wearable condition, to be packaged and sent to an orphanage in Vietnam.They received a letter and pictures of the needy children receiving the clothing.
