MMI releases honor roll for fourth quarter

Thomas G. Hood, head of school at MMI Preparatory School, Freeland, has announced the names of students who achieved honor roll status during the fourth quarter.

The honor roll recognizes sound academic performance each quarter. To earn a place on the honor roll, a student must have a cumulative average in all core subjects of 85.0, have attained an average of 70.0 or better in each course, have no "incompletes" at the end of the nine-week grading period, be enrolled in a complete schedule of courses and have a satisfactory citizenship record.The following local students in the TIMES NEWS coverage area have earned honor roll recognition for the fourth quarter of the 2012-2013 school year:12th grade: Casey McCoy, White Haven; Casey Olszewski, Weatherly; Devon Sherwood, Lehighton; and Gregory Yannes, White Haven.11th grade: Alexander Haber, Tresckow; Hannah Lesitsky, Albrightsville; Eleni Moustardas, White Haven; and Kaitlyn Sitch, Weatherly.10th grade: Gabriellia Becker, Lake Harmony; and Kelsy Donaldson, White Haven.Ninth grade: Desiree Dinko, White Haven; Shaelyn Heft, Lehighton; Allison Maso, White Haven; Sarah Moyer, Bowmanstown; Jessica Pileggi, Albrightsville; and Nash Wenner, Palmerton.Seventh grade: Lauren Babinetz, Jim Thorpe; John Malay, Jim Thorpe; Mark Sitch, Weatherly; and Cole Wenner, Palmerton.
