A Monroe County business has been cited by the Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board for a liquor code violation.

JNS Enterprises, trading as Jonnys Bar N Gill, 222 Strawberry Hill Road, Hamilton Township, was cited for licensed premises not a bona fide hotel in that bedrooms maintained for the accommodation of guests were insufficient in number and/or inadequately equipped.This charge will be brought before an administration law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition, the judge can imposed a license suspension or revocation based on the severity of the charge brought.
