Susan Gallagher, chief naturalist at the Carbon County Environmental Education center, will present "Bats: Fact and Fiction" at the Locust Lake State Park amphitheater at 6:30 p.m. on July 6.
She will have a live bat to share, and will talk about their unique anatomy, habits and diet, and how White Nose Syndrome is affecting the bat population. After the program, she will use a bat detector to listen to and identify bats in the park. For more information call (570) 467-2506 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
