A sign was erected this week in the Little Schuylkill River in Tamaqua to warn boaters of danger when passing beneath the East Broad Street bridge, where a rebuilding project is swinging into high gear. "Bridge construction. Use extreme caution when boating in this area," reads the sign. There was no indication if a boating detour is in effect.
