Four area residents were among 66 defendants arraigned on criminal charges Monday morning in the Schuylkill County Courthouse before District Attorney Karen Byrnes Noon and all pleaded not guilty and requested jury trials. They were:

Laura Marie Keck, 23, of 47 Lakewood Avenue, Barnesville, charged by Saint Clair Patrolman Joseph J. Leskin, with theft of three sets of Legos valued at $319.11 from Walmart Store.Thomas Leo Bilsak, 24, of 73 Second St., Coaldale, charged by Trooper Caleb J. Huber of unauthorized use of bank card of Jillian M. Emrick, Cressona, former girlfriend.Jason Warren Miller, 33, of 78 Tucker Hill Road, New Philadlephia, charged by Trooper Arthur F. Crouse, with simple assault of Ben Horvath, clerk in Kmart Store, Schuylkill Mall, when accosted attempting to open a coin operating vending machine with a knife.Angela Marie Clymer, 37, White Haven, charged by Schuylkill Haven Cpl. Christopher Hand with simple assault and harassment of Steven Barret, Greb Polosky, and Jared DeLauretis, emergency responders, and resisting arrest and disordelry conduct.Jose Manuel Arroyo, 24, Reading, charged by Shenandoah Patrolman Robert Senape, with four counts each of aggravated and simple assault, two counts of recklessly endangering another person and one count each of person not to possess a firearm, dischaging a firearm into an occupied structure, and possession and concealing an instrument of crime. Informaiton filed to court claims Arroyo fired several shots with a handgun in the area of 100 block on Spruce Street and one shot struck Michael Benjamin in the upper arm.Ronald D. Dermo, 56, Pottsville, charged by agent of the Pennsylvania Department of Correction with theft of scrap metal belonging to the correctional institution in Ryan Township.
