The Palmerton Area Library Summer Reading Program got off to a winning start as approximately 25 boys and girls, kindergarten through fourth grade, played Beach Bingo for donated prizes. The children came dressed in summer clothing, which then entitled them to two free game boards. Everyone present got to take home a new book to kick start their summer reading.
