Bayview Loan Servicing, LLC, Coral Gables, Fla., started a suit against Jacob Younatanov, Jamaica Estates, N.Y., claiming the defendant has failed to keep up mortgage payments on property at 301 W. Broad St., Tamaqua, and seeks a judgment in amount of $196,819.50 plus interest and costs.Divorcers grantedThomas M. Rabenold, Box 302, Tamaqua, was granted a divorce from Dawn L. Rabenold, 446 Arlington St., Tamaqua. They were married Oct. 15, 1998.Clayton Spohr, 315 W. Sherman St., McAdoo, was granted a divorce from Mary D. Spohr, 2 W. Sherman St., McAdoo. Snyder, 492 Blue Mountain Drive, New Ringgold, alleging he has defaulted on payments on a credit card and is seeking judgment for $26,692 plus interest and costs.Dismiss chargeCharges of possession instruments of crime, criminal mischief, and resisting arrest filed against Eric D. Pennington, 40, Girardville, were dropped on the motion of District Attorney Karen Byrnes Noon seeking to nolle prosequi the charges because the victim could not be found and that the Girardville police agreed. The motion was granted by President Judge William E. Baldwin.Pennington was cited by police who reported finding him and an accomplice in the basement of the property at 201 N. Second St.Caught with drugsRobert P. Mehlman, 56, Minersville, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of a controlled substance in Minersville and was sentenced by Judge John E. Domalakes to serve six to 18 months in the county prison, pay $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account, a $50 monthly supervision fee, and make restitution of $226 to Bethlehem Regional Lab. He was cited by Patrolman Jeffrey R. Bowers.Steals walletMary Lauretta Hardy, 43, Shenandoah, pleaded guilty to theft of a wallet left at the Union Bus Station, Pottsville, and was placed by Judge John Domalakes to serve four years on probation, pay $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account, a $50 monthly supervisionfee, perform 20 hours of community service, and make restitution of $510 to the victim, Deborah Kubilus, who left the wallet in the bus station. Patrolman Grant F. Yoder, traced the missing wallet to the defendant.Found guiltyWilliam Robert Thompson, 48, Minersville, was found guilty by a jury of charges of simple assault causing bodilly injury and defiant trespass but not guilty of a second simple assault charge involving physical menace. Judge John Domalakes found him guilty of a summary charge of harassment and fined him $150 and costs and found him not guilty of a second harassment. Sentencing was deferred to a later date.
