Mr. and Mrs. John Vincler, Jim Thorpe, are receiving congratulations on the celebration of their 60th wedding anniversary on June 6. They were married in St. John's Lutheran Church, South Avenue, by the Rev. Mark Lochner.

Mrs. Vincler is the daughter of the late Charles and Nora Witt, and sister to Wayne and the late Charles "Corky" Witt. She is retired from the Jim Thorpe School District, having worked in the cafeteria of L.B. Morris Elementary School for 22 years.John is the son of the late John and Margaret Vincler and brother to the late Irene Vincler. He is retired from the A&P, where he was manager of the meat department for 40 years.They have three children, Donald of Nesquehoning, John of Whitehall and Sheri Regalado of Chicago. They also have two grandsons, Jacob Rothfuss and Zack Vincler.
