Hauck, 105 Hazle St., Delano, alleging he has defaulted on his credit card payments and seek a judgement for $2,123.09 plus interest and costs.Slip and fall suitA Tamaqua woman has filed a civil suit in the county court against a Tamaqua property owner and Tamaqua Borough for failure to maintain a public walkway after allegedly suffering injuries in a fall.The action was started by Dawn Yates, 115 W. Rowe St., Apt. 2, against Thomas M. and Catherine E. Domarecki, of 223 E. White St., Summit Hill, and the borough.The suit claims the Domareckis' are owners of a property at 23 Market St., and on Sept. 2, 2011, Yates claims she was walking towards a legally parked motor vehicle and was caused to slip and fall on an accumulation of rocks and debris on the public way which were caused to accumulate from a storm which washed the debris onto the public way from the property of 23 Market St.The suit alleges the owners were negligent in failing to properly maintain their property and failing to provide an even surface for the public invitees to walk on. She blames the borough for also failing to properly maintain the public walkway.Mortgage foreclosureBank of America, Plano, Tex., filed suit against Michael Formica Jr. and Justine E. Krslan, both of Third Street, Oneida, East Union Township, alleging they have defaulted mortgage payments on their property and seeks a judgement of $19,294.74 plus interest and costs and foreclosure.
