Pocono Mountain Regional police are seeking the whereabouts of a Monroe County man wanted on several charges.

Police said on Sunday, June 1, about 10:26 a.m. they served a search warrant at 231 Blossum Lane, Long Pond, Tunkhannock Township, after they were informed that Stephen Haag, 58, of that address, had a handgun. Police said Haag is a person not to possess a firearm.The search resulted in a loaded 9 mm handgun, ammunition, and a small amount of marijuana and related drug paraphernalia being found in the home.Haag was not at a home and an arrest warrant charging him with person not to possess firearms, a felony two, and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia was obtained.Anyone who has information of Haag's whereabouts is asked to call police at (570) 895-2400
