Break-in, theft incidents probed

State police at Fern Ridge reported on a burglary and theft incidents probed by troopers.

The break-in occurred at the residence at 122 Cindy Lu Lane, in Effort, Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, and owned by Juliet Henry. Forced entry was made to the home and removed was a large quantity of copper pipe. The incident occurred sometime between March 1 and May 30.Ashley Heckman, of 1765 SR209, in Saylorsburg, Chestnuthill Township, reported someone removed a Sony car stereo from her 2000 Volkswagen Jetta while parked at her residence. The theft occurred sometime between May 1 and June 1.Various lawn equipment was removed from a garage on the property of Kasey Lynn McKissick, 6139 Neola Rd., in Jackson Township, Monroe County. Troopers said the garage door was open and the theft occurred sometime between May 21 at 10 p.m. and May 22 at 9 p.m.Anyone with information concerning these incidents is asked to call troopers at (570) 646-2271.
