Tuscarora man among 20 to enter guilty pleas

A Tuscarora man was one of 20 defendants who entered guilty pleas to criminal charges in Schuylkill County court and were sentenced by Judge John E. Domalakes as follows:

Joshua Shane Generella, of 10 Catawissa Road, Tuscarora, Schuylkill Township, burglary of storage building owned by Kane Lumber Company, 500 W. Cottage Avenue,Tamaqua, sentenced to serve six to 23 months in the county prison with the sentence to begin Thursday, May 29, at 9 a.m. with credit for spending 54 days in prison, pay $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account (CJEA) fund, and make restitution of $812.27 to Matt Kane, of Kane's Lumber. Generella was cited by Tamaqua Cpl. Henry Woods.Scott Schoffstall, 20, Pottsville, on charges of resisting arrest, giving a false identification to police, receiving personal property stolen from the car of Roseann Petrusky, 500 block School Street; and theft of credit card of Roberta Domlesky, was given credit for serving 78 days in the county prison and was placed on probation for 23 months, pay $150 to CJEA fund, and make restitution of $440 to Roseann Petrusky and $330 to Roberta Domlesky. Schoffstall was cited by Minersville police.Andrew Dustin Rumbeger, 22, Schuylkill Haven, simple assault of Katelin Flamini, was given credit for serving 108 days in the county prison and was released on parole for 18 months, pay $50 to CJEA, and must have no contact with the victim. He was cited by Schuylkill Haven Patrolman Gregory S. Meisner.Kayla Marie Perry, 20, Schuylkill Haven, three counts of theft, placed on probation 23 months, pay $150 to CJEA fund, and make restituiton of $100 to SPCA for removal of a collection box, $1,320 to Beverly Weller, Orwigsburg, for removal of jewelry, and $56.06 to Wlamart Store, Saint ClairBrian James O'Doherty, 29, Pottsville.theft by deception by receiving rental assistance from the Pottsvile Housing Authority, sentence to serve one to 12 months in the county prison with credit for serving 16 days, with the sentence to begin Friday, June 14, at 9 a.m., and make restitution of $14,999.On two counts of delivery of a controlled substance he must serve an adiditional four years on probation, pay $200 to SAE fund, $200 to CJEA fund, and $226 to Bethlehem Regional Lab. He was cited by Poltsville police.David Norman Murphy Jr., 24, Philadelphia, harassment of Dean Krammes Jr. on West Union Street, Schuylkill Haven, fined $300, and pay $50 to CJEA fund. Murphy was cited by Schuylkill Haven Patrolman David T. George.Troy Brok Fisher, 35, Pottsville, involved in accident on Water Street, New Philadelphia, with vehicle drivien by Denise Smolar, placed on probation two years, pay $50 to CJEA fund, and perform 25 hours of community service. On a charge of failing to give immediate notice of accident was fined $25 and failiure to wear a seatbelt fined $10 plus $100 costs. Fisher was cited by Trooper Michael P. Becker.Albin Kaminsky, 38, Shenandoah, resisting arrest, fined $300, and pay $50 to CJEA fund. Kaminsky was cited by Shenandoah Patrolman Michael O'Neill.Stephen J. Mallick, 32, Frackville, recklessly endangering and assaulting Susan Sematavage, 340 Oakland Avenue, Ashland, in a domestic dispute, placed on probation 12 months, pay $50 to CJEA fund, and make restitution of $2,461.73 to the victim. Mallick was cited by Patrolman Daniel Weikel.Jennifer Gates, 36, Shenandoah, two counts of simple assault and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, placed on probation 23 months, and pay $50 to CJEA fund. Gates was cited by Shenandoah Patrolman Michael O'Neill, who charged her with assaulting David Rector, of 225 Chesnut St.Joseph Gates, Shenandoah, simple assault and resisting arrrest, received credit for serving 92 days in the county prison and was released on parole for 23 months, pay a fine of $25, and pay $50 to CJEA fund. Gates was cited by Shenandoah Patrolman Joshua Pasucka, and charged with assaulting Michael Dissinger, 302 W. New York St.Jesse Paul Dembinsky, 27, Saint Clair, DUI of alcohol, sentenced to serve 72 hours to six months in the county prison, fined $1,000, pay $300 to SAE fund, $50 to MCARE fund, $60 to SMC, complete safety school and outpatient substance abuse treatment, perform 10 hours community service, and driver's license suspended 12 months. On a charge of simple assault on a police officer shall serve an additional 18 months on probation. Dembinsky was cited by Saint Clair Patrolman Martin H. Sterner.Tyrone Ernest Bruton, 44, Pottsville, harassment of Abagail Zweizig at a fast food restaurant, fined $300, and pay $50 to CJEA fund. Bruton was cited by Trooper Peter F. Mohn.Brandi Nicole Benjamin, 32, Shamokin, receiving stolen jewelry, placed on probation 23 months, and pay $50 to CJEA fund. Benjamin was cited by Trooper John Powis.Gavin Daniel Heim, 18, Valley View, Hegins Township, DUI of drugs, sentenced to serve 72 hours to six months in the county prison, fined $1,000, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to MCARE fund, $460 to SMC, complete safety school and outpatient substance abuse treatment, perform 10 hours community service, and driver's license was suspended 12 months.On charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia shall serve an additional 12 months on probation. On a charge of driving while license suspended was fined $200 and failing to have car insurance coverage fined $300 plus $100 costs. Heim was cited by Trooper Mark W. Knock after his vehicle left the road and sheered a utility pole on Main Street in Hubley Township.Ashley Rose Kruleski, Kulpmont, DUI of drugs, sentenced to serve 72 hours to six months in the county prison, fined $1,000, pay $100 to SAE fund $50 to MCARE fund, $460 to SMC, complete safety school and outpatient substanced abuse treatment, perform 100 hours community service, and driver's license suspended 12 months. Kruleski was cited by Trooper Joe May.Mark John Schriner, 23, Shenandoah, DUI of alcohol, sentenced to serve 90 days to five years in the county prison beginning Wednesday, May 29, at 10 a.m. On a charge of driving while driver's license is suspended-DUI related, shall serve an additional 60 days and fined $500.He also must pay $100 to MCARE fund and when placed on probation attend a safety school, perform 20 hours of community service, and his driver's license is suspended 18 months. On charges of driving the wrong way on a one way road, failing to drive at a safe speed and failing to wear seatbelt was fined $60 plus $150 costs. Schriner was cited by Shenandoah Patrolman Christopher Zuber.Shane Douglas Hibbler, 21, Pottsville, possession of a controlled substance, sentenced to serve six to 12 months in a state correctional faclity to run concurrent with a sentence now serving, pay $50 to CJEA fund and court costs. Hibbler was cited by Pottsville Patrolman Brian J. Reno.Jamar Abdul Macon, 37, Frackville, simple assault on correction officer at state prison facility in Mahanoy Township, sentenced to serve three to 12 months in a state facility with the sentence to run concurrent with a life sentence now serving imposed by the Delaware County Court. He was cited by Trooper Edward Lizeewski.Cheryl Ann Borowski, 51, Arnot's Addition, Saint Clair, passing bad check and four counts of delivery of a controlled substance, sentenced to serve 11 1/2 to 23 months in the county prison with the sentence to begin Saturday, June 1, at 9 a.m., pay $150 to CJEA fund, make restitution of $339 to Bethlehem Regional Lab, and $246 to Minersville Police Department. Borowski was cited by Patrolman Jeffrey R. Bowers.Each defendant must also pay a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation or parole.
