A New Jersey truck driver was involved in a one vehicle crash in Schuylkill County. State police at Frackville said the accident occurred about 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21, on the Interstate 81 on-ramp in West Mahanoy Township.

Troopers said Eric M. Crute, 54, of Iselin, N.J., was driving a truck southbound on the ramp at a unsafe speed. He failed to negotiate a right hand turn causing the trailer portion to overturn onto the driver's side.Crute was injured and taken to the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Troopers said he will be cited for the crash.
