Several people were reported injured in a crash involving three vehicles that occurred about 8:50 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of state routes 209 and 903 in Jim Thorpe.

Reports gathered from radio broadcasts from the county communications center indicated four persons injured, one possibly seriously.Traffic had to be rerouted for a period of time. Ambulances from several local communities were reportedly dispatched.Repeated efforts by the TIMES NEWS this morning to contact Jim Thorpe police for details of the accident were unsuccessful.
