Break-in, mischief incidents probed

State police at Lehighton reported investigating a burglary and criminal mischief incidents.

The break-in occurred at a residence at 4296 Upper Smith Gap Road, in Saylorsburg, Ross Township, Monroe County. Troopers said entry was made during the time frame of May 9-19. Nothing was apparently taken in the entry, troopers said. The home is owned by David Ralph Vetter, 57, of Yardley, Bucks County.Edward Ehmke, 54, of 415 Rodeo Drive, Kunkletown, Polk Township, Monroe County, reported someone damaged his mailbox. The incident occurred sometime between May 17-19.Erin Nicole Dorpfeld, 18, of 127 Grape Lane, Kunkletown, reported someone threw eggs at her relative's residence at 910 Twin Lake Drive, Robin Hood Lakes, Polk Township, about 10:46 p.m. on May 17.Betsy Bojko, 51, of 782 Silver Springs Blvd., Kunkletown, Polk Township, reported someone damaged the rear windshield on her 2006 Jeep Commander while parked at her residence. The incident occurred sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on May 19.Anyone with information concerning any of these incidents is asked to call troopers at (610) 377-4270.
