State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating an act of criminal mischief that was reported at a Schuylkill County site.

Troopers said the side windows on a Komatsu backhoe were smahed with a blunt object while it was parked in the area of the upper soccer fields along the Gordon Nagle Trail, in North Manheim Township. The incident occurred sometime between 8:45 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, May 16. The backhoe is the property of Bob Dudash Excavating, of Pottsville.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 739-1330.
