A Carbon County man is facing charges of simple assault and harassment following a domestic incident.

State police at Lehighton said Gregory Paul Steinmetz, 28, of 2130 Forest St., Towamensing Township, will be charged as the result of an incident that occurred at his residence about 9 p.m. on May 14. The listed victim is a 40-year-old male from Palmerton.Steinmetz fled the scene prior to the arrival of troopers. Charges will be filed.
