Carbon County Navy Club in conjunction with Immaculate Conception Church, Broadway, Jim Thorpe, is hosting its fourth annual Blessing of the Flags at 7 p.m. Friday, June 14 at the church.

All Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Brownies and Girl Scouts troops, fire departments, police departments, veterans organizations, Panther Valley

J.R.O.T.C., Pa. National Guard Units, or any other organization which has flags to be blessed are invited to attend and to bring their flags for the blessing ceremony."We ask that you don't dishonor our flag and don't disgrace your organization," said Robert (Ski) Siesputowski.Volunteers are also needed to assist with the program.For information contact Siesputowski at (570) 645-3643.
