Mahoning Township supervisors acted on the following items of business during their second meeting last month with two supervisors absent due to the conflict with the annual Pennsylvania State Association of Townships annual convention which they were appointed to attend. Chairperson John Wieczorek , Linda Benner and Todd Weaver voted upon the following items:

- Adopted a resolution to adjust prices for small quantities of bituminous materials.- Granted a 90 day extension to the Summit Ridge II land development agreement.- Transferred police car #34 to the fire department for training purposes.Supervisor Weaver also reported on the possibility of a historical society forming and meeting in the near future. He also commended the fire department for their efforts with a fire on Ochre Street.The meeting had a brief executive session for the purpose of discussing legal matters with no business afterward.
