Mrs. Emaline Schweibinz of Jim Thorpe was honored as Mother of the Year during the annual Mother's day fete by the senior citizens of Memorial Park in that community. Mrs. Harold Rowe presented a "This is Your Life" tribute in lauding the 63-year-old mother of 12 children, one of whom is deceased; 24 grand children, and two step great-grandchildren. Edward and Jennie Beers were recognized as the oldest married couple.
