A vehicle stop in Carbon County along Interstate 80 has led to drug charges against a New York state driver.

State police at Fern Ridge said Benjamin Torres, 18, Brooklyn, was stopped about 8:20 p.m. Monday, May 6, in Kidder Township. A search of the vehicle found a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, troopers said. Charges were filed.
