A Schuylkill County driver was cited following a one vehicle crash that occurred about 9:45 p.m. on Friday, May 3, along Fearnot Road in Hubley Township.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Lewis S. Zimmerman, 60, of Valley View, was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado truck westbound and failed to negotiate a right hand curve. He drove off the east shoulder and through a grassy area before landing in a creek.Zimmerman sustained moderate injuries and was flown by Lifeflight helicopter to the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Damages were termed significant to the truck.Troopers cited Zimmerman for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
