May 6, 1972 Joe Hedash pitches a no-hitter to help Panther Valley take over first place in the Northern Division of the North Schuylkill League. Hedash strikes out five and walks five, but no North Schuylkill baserunner gets past first base in the 4-0 Panther victory. Pete Radocha collects a pair of hits, one of them a solo homer in the third inning. The winners also receive a two-run double from Ben Arthur while Greg Whitehead contributes a pair of hits and two runs scored.
