A Northumberland County woman is facing a charge of retail theft for an incident at a department store in Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said Larissa Justina Voeckler, 26, of Mount Carmel, was arrested after she was observed pushing a cart full of merchandise from the Sears store in the Schuylkill Mall, New Castle Township, outside without paying for the items. She was stopped by store security.Included in the items were various adult and children's clothing, a hat, a blanket, three packs of candle scents, three bottles of perfume, five pairs of slippers, two bracelets, and two pairs of earrings. Total value of the items were set at $1,305.95.Troopers said the incident occurred about 1:40 p.m. on Thursday, May 3.
