Thousands of items given away in Tamaqua

Over 40 bicycles, 50 televisions, 60 specialty picture frames and thousands of other items were given away Saturday during the Tamaqua Volunteer group's monthly community giveaway event. Volunteers stressed their appreciation to all who dropped items off.
