Tamaqua woman among 18 to enter guilty pleas

A Tamaqua woman was one of 18 defendants who entered guilty pleas in Schuylkill County court and were sentenced by Judge James P. Goodman.

Dianne Louise Ontiverods, of 31 Swatara St., pleaded to retail theft from Boscov's Store, Fairlane Village Mall, Pottsville. She had her sentencing deferred to Wednesday, June 19, and the court ordered a pre-sentence report prepared by the adult probation department. She was cited by Trooper Robert Oakley.Joseph R. Angst Sr., 46, of 21 Main St., Middleport, simple assault, was given credit for spending 58 days in the county prison and released on parole for 18 months, and pay $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account (CJEA). Harrisburg, robbery of the Miners Bank in Tremont last August and terrorizing a bank teller, sentenced to serve 30 to 60 months in a state correctional facility and received credit for serving 245 days in the county prison.He also was ordered to make restitution of $272.12 to the bank and $67.72 to Jessica Smith, the teller. He was apprehended when his getaway vehicle struck a concrete culvert and rolled over on Interstate 81 in Lebanon County. Cook was cited by Trooper John Sleboda.Christopher Allen Hill, 21, Minersville, theft of a credit card, sentenced to serve 11 1/2 to 23 months in the county prison with credit for serving 161 days. Also, he was ordered to make restitution of $600 to Adam Daley. New Minersville.Hill also pleaded guilty to theft from a motor vehicle and was sentenced to serve an additional 12 months on probation and make restitution of $19 to David Natale, of Minersville. On a charge of theft of property received a concurrent 11 1/2 to 23 months sentence but must make restitution of $480 to Amber Laudeman, New Minersville. He was cited by Reilley Township and Minersville police. Hill also must pay $150 to the CJEA fund.Randy Michael Bruen, 37, Pottsville, two counts of retail theft, sentenced to serve six to 23 months in the county prison, pay $100 to CJEA fund, and make restitution of $2,696 to Walmart Store in Saint Clair. He was cited by Patrolman Joseph J. Leskin.Dante Auto Diagostino, 32, Berwick, theft of credit card, sentenced to serve six to 12 months with the sentence to run consecutive to a sentence he is now serving in a state correctional facility from Columbia County which makes his total aggregate sentence to be 15 to 30 months. He also must make restitution of $6.14 to Jennifer Minnehan-Smith, of Ashland. Dietrick was cited by Trooper Scott M.Grochowski.Amber Marie Gunderman, 36, Minersville, five counts of theft by unlawful taking and four counts each of forgery, theft by deception, and receiving stolen property, sentenced to serve 14 to 28 months in a state correctional facility with credit for serving 132 days in the county prison. Cink.Adriane Nicole Donton, 23, Pine Grove, DUI of alcohol, serve 30 days in the county prison followed by four years and 11 months on probation in the Intermediate Punishment Program (IPP), fined $1,500, pay $100 to SAE fund, $100 to Catastrophe fund, attend alcohol safety school, complete outpatient substance abuse treatment, perform 20 hours community service, driver's license suspended 12 months and when restored must install an ignition interlock on the steering wheel of vehicle to monitor any alcohol consumption.On a summary charge of reckless driving was fined $200 and on charges of limited driving on left side of road, meeting a vehicle proceeding in the opposite direction on the wrong side of road and failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic was fined $25 each plus $200 in costs. She was cited by Patrolman Laurie Dudash.Matthew James Miske, 22, Schuylkill Haven, three counts of aggravated assault and one count each of recklessly endangering another person and criminal mischief, sentenced to serve 59 to 118 months in a state correctional facility with credit for serving 406 days in the county prison, followed by 10 years on probation and must have no contact with the victims, Alissa Nicole Lord and Alberto Rodriguez-Ramarez, both whom Trooper Chad M. Smith said were stabbed in the incident.The court also ordered him to make restitution of $14,733.04 to the victim's bureau in the courthouse.Each defendant must also pay a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation or parole.
