For the women who attended the Professional Administrative Assistant Luncheon on Wednesday, sponsored by the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development, it was a pleasant interlude between morning and afternoon job responsibilities.

The event was held at Blue Ridge County Club in Palmerton.Both Margie Federanich, event chairman, and Dawn Ferrante, director of CCCCED, welcomed the women to the event."Happy Professional Administrative Assistant Day," said Ferrante. She also thanked all the sponsors for helping to make the day a success.As the women dined on specially prepared entrées, the had the opportunity to catch up on the latest fashions available at Coldwater Creek from the Lehigh Valley Mall.The store offers distinctive, versatile and colorful women's clothing available in misses, petites and women's sizes. It also carries accessories, jewelry, shoes, home accents and gifts.Beth Prictch of the Coldwater Creek store was the fashion show narrator.Models were Marie Johns of Blue Ridge TV-13 Eyewatch News; Kim Bell, general manager at Blue Ridge Communication; Pamela Gothard, owner of Gothard Realty; Marlyn Kissner of the Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce; and Darlene Nothstein of Palmerton.Prictch introduced the models and described the fashions they wore. From the moment the models emerged from the dressing room, it was easy to see that each loved the outfits she chose to wear.Each modeled two ensembles during the show.Johns wore a beach outfit, featuring slim leg crop pants in Deauville blue and a sequin sparkle tank with Deauville blue stripes, topped with a light weight white jean jacket.For her second outfit, Johns wore basic black, with some added pizazz. The elegant knee length tribal pattern pencil skirt was topped with a beaded tank, and tropical scarf with a fun pattern.Bell selected an all white outfit complimented with pink. Her eyelet trimmed denim shorts were topped with a breezy ribbon yarn sweater. She added a bright belt in ripe raspberry to add a pop of color to her all white look.For her second outfit, Bell wore a java stripe maxi dress that gave her an elegant look for summer. Topping the dress was a black shrug to keep her warm. The shrug had ribbon yarn in a soft hue to add a dressier element.Gothard chose a stunning orange outfit with boot cut cropped pants, topped with a ruffled tank and palazzo cardigan.For her second outfit she wore a summer blossom shell with matching jacket over white long summer denim pants.Kissner's lanky frame looked great in the denim on denim outfit she wore. She paired a white jean jacket with denim walking shorts and a double lace tank in Deauville blue.For her second outfit, she chose combination silk and linen pants with a flowing and cool poncho. The poncho flattered with its strategically placed geometric prints.Nothstein wore a light summer poncho in striped coral over a white cami. She paired the poncho with a slim leg ankle pant in a dark wash.For her second outfit she wore a patio print jacket over a silk cotton bateau shell.
