Dear Editor:

I wanted to thank everyone that helped me out Friday around 6 p.m. when my car got stuck right in the middle of route 329 and Main Street. People were so nice and tried everything to get my car off to the side but it was impossible to move.The police officer that came to the call was very professional as well as kind and nice. A lot of people think no one helps each other or the cops are jerks. Yesterday that proved it wrong.I didn't know what happened. I made a turn and a loud thump made me come to a stop. Here my ball joint attached to my tire snapped. Thank God I was going slow and my children were not in the car. I'm grateful for the people that helped me and the cop that cracked jokes to ease my embarressment. For it was the busiest time of the day and not to mention the train had to go by.So I will always stop and see if anyone needs my help for I have a heart just for those who stopped to help me. Everyone was kind and everyone came together. So again thank you to the guys that helped me and the cop that made me smile and the crew members that kept traffic flowing.
