A Tamaqua man has been cited following an incident at a Tamaqua fire on April 4.

As firefighters were dealing with a fire at 208 W. Spruce St., John Blank, 50, of 82 Hunter St., was operating a green Dodge truck, running over a fire hose. The end of the hose was broken in the incident.Blank has been cited for unauthorized driving over a fire hose.
