State police at the Fern Ridge barracks are investigating a criminal mischief incident that was reported at 9:50 a.m. March 29 in Chestnuthill Township.

The victim is Benchmark Civil Engineering of Allentown.Police said a white male wearing a hoodie and a baseball cap reached out of the front seat passenger-side of a black Hyundai SUV and grabbed the leg of a Robotic Total Station, causing the equipment to fall to the ground.Police said the SUV had a Pa. registration plate on it.The incident happened along Route 209, just north of Gilbert Road in the township.
