Carbon County Treasurer Ron Sheehan was guest speaker at a recent meeting of Lehighton Rotary Club. He discussed Pennsylvania's Local Option Small Games of Chance Act and how it affects non-profit organizations in the Commonwealth. As two non-profit organizations, Lehighton Area Pool Pals and Lehighton Rotary Club recently teamed up to host the annual Community Indoor Yard Sale and Chinese Auction. They are also currently working on their inaugural Holiday Handmade Craft Show - scheduled for Saturday, November 2.
