Two Schuylkill County residents were arrested for retail theft for incidents at two county department stores.

State police at Schuylkill Haven identified the two as a 17-year-old male from Ashland, and Robert Joseph Link, 18, of Frackville.Troopers said about 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, the two entered Kohl's Department store in the Fairlane Village Mall, Norwegian Township, and left the store with various clothing items. The teen was stopped by store security while Link fled in a blue Jeep Liberty.He was stopped a short time later by state police at Frackville and returned to the store. A search of the vehicle revealed the items stolen from Kohl's, and also items that were stolen from Boscov's Department store in the same mall. The items taken from Kohl's were valued at $424 and from Boscov's $280.All the stolen items were returned to the two stores. Charges will be filed against the teen and Link.
