Members of the Tamaqua Volunteers group are in need of a few trucks and drivers to help them pick up 25 donated televisions, 4 dressers and other items for this Saturday's free Tamaqua Community Giveaway. If you are available to be at the Hometown Fire Company with your truck this Wednesday at 5:30 p.m., please call the event organizer at (570) 668-1234. The move should only take less than an hour and a half.

In addition, organizers added that donations can be dropped off this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. The free giveaway, for Tamaqua residents, will start sharply at 9:15 a.m.
