Palmerton's Golden Deed Award was presented to Mrs. Dorothy Bortz, pastor's wife, at the 22nd annual Golden Deeds Award Dinner held in the parish house of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. The award program is sponsored by the Palmerton Exchange Club. Making the presentation to Mrs. Bortz was Geza Holczman, member of the Exchange Club. He cited her for living unselfishly, for faithfully discharging civic duties, for cheerfully making unrequired sacrifices.
