The sacrament of Confirmation was administered to approximately 40 young people from Coaldale, Summit Hill, Lansford, and Nesquehoning in St. Katharine Drexel Roman Catholic Church in Lansford on April 17. Officiating for the sacrament was Retired Bishop Edward Cullen assisted by, left to right, Rev. Fr. Burdess, Deacon Henninger, Rev. Fr. Bechtel, Msgr. Finelli, Rev. Fr. Schoenhauer and Rev. MEdve , pastor of St. Catherine's.
